Some fresh news to start 2010 with! FTCF will be playing two shows in their hometown this winter:

Also a few reviews for "The Tyranny of Choice" EP were posted here and there, mainly in french magazines and webzines (You'll find the links at the bottom of this post). And by the way, you may now listen to The Escapist on the audio page.
Last but not least, the band is now back at work and hopes to be coming up with a new album some time this year. We'll keep you posted. Happy new year!

The song "Truth or Dare?", featured on the new EP, may now be played on the band's myspace page.



April 30th, 2009

FTCF's new recording will be released in a couple of days. The EP "The Tyranny of Choice" will feature two songs for a total length of 23 minutes and will be available on the band’s forthcoming tour.

As a prelude to those European gigs, FTCF will be playing at Le Sonic with their friends Atlantis (from NL) next Thursday, may 7th. For more information, please check this out.

In case you can't make it to one of those shows and would like to grab a copy, feel free to send an e-mail to the band so that you can get a CD after the tour.

On March 20th, FTCF will be back in the studio to record a couple of tracks for a forthcoming EP due early May. The band will likely have some limited CD-r edition to sell on their Spring-tour and will try and find some distribution deal afterwards in order to have their next LP widely released.

January 5th, 2009

A few announcements! First of all, FTCF will play a "charity" show on January 16th at Grrrnd Zero Vaise, to collect money and help Le Sonic carry on hosting concerts. The bill will also feature local bands Ned, Zëro and One Second Riot. Please do drop in!

We will hit Le Sonic's stage three weeks later, on February 6th, to support Ben Shepard's Uzi & Ari.

Eventually, we're glad to announce that a few shows have been booked in Germany, Belgium and Netherlands for May 2009. Details will be posted in a few weeks.

After a few months off FTCF got back to work and will support German band Daturah at le Sonic on the 28th of November.

The September tour had to be postponed to May 2009. Hopefully more details should be announced soon: any help for booking shows or suggestions appreciated, please get in touch with the band. Stay tuned!

FTCF will be the guest of a local radio show in Vienne, tomorrow (wednesday june 18th) from 8 to 10 pm. Unfortunately the radio is not broadcast on the web, but if you're lucky enough to be in the area, you will be able to catch it on 89.5 FM.

After a couple of months off at the end of 2007, FTCF have gone back to work on some new material based on several hours of jamming sessions. Expect to hear some new songs during their forthcoming show supporting American band Gregor Samsa at La Marquise (Lyon) on May 23rd.

With a tour coming up in early October during which the band should play in France, Belgium, Luxemburg, The Netherlands and Germany, a new album should be recorded soon.
